Duckfest!
Eric | September 15, 2005A friend and I took these duck shots while on a National Zoo trip. He took (1), (3) and (4); I took (2). The camera in all cases is a Sony W-1.
(1) A seething herd of mallards. I was never able to figure out why they were agitated.
(2) An array of mandarin and wood ducks.
(3) Believe it or not, this guy swims under water. Unfortunately, we were unable to catch it on camera.
(4) White-faced whistling ducks, keeping a leg warm.
